I received a complimentary upgrade to a twin room, which was a nice gesture, and the location was fantastic, within walking distance to all the places I wanted to visit.

Golborne Manor is my go-to place in Chester. The staff recommended amazing places on my first stay. Free Wi-Fi, parking, flat-screen TV, and electric kettle make it perfect. Can't wait to return for Easter.

In my room, I had a kettle to make my own tea or coffee, a nice warm central heating system, and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Plus, I could enjoy a view of the garden from my room 🌳.

The room was absolutely lovely with a cozy and homey feel. I especially loved the beautiful garden view from the double room. It had all the essentials like a hairdryer and free toiletries in the private bathroom, making my stay hassle-free. The presence of a tea/coffee maker, flat-screen TV, and electric kettle added to the comfort and convenience of the room.
Personally, I didn't quite like the fact that the twin room only had an electric kettle. But that's just my preference, others might still find it sufficient.

With its beautiful garden views, Golborne Manor is like a tranquil oasis in the bustling city of Chester. The picturesque scenery made me feel like I was staying in a secret garden, away from the chaos of everyday life. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of exploring the city. Whether I was enjoying a cup of tea in the morning or sipping a glass of wine in the evening, the garden provided a serene backdrop that added an extra touch of magic to my stay.
Erratic plumbing.

We recently stayed at Golborne Manor for four nights. The location was perfect, nestled in beautiful countryside with stunning views. The nearby A41 didn't create any traffic noise. The property had a lovely homely feel and the host, Ann, was wonderful. The full English breakfast was excellent and set us up for the day. The surrounding gardens were a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the scenery. Easy access to the Park and Ride made it convenient to explore Chester and nearby attractions like the zoo and Cheshire Oaks. We highly recommend the Grosvenor Arms for a delicious and reasonably priced meal.
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

Free parking and Wi-Fi were such a treat, shame they didn't have free champagne too. The garden views were lovely, if only my allergies didn't act up every time I stepped outside.
My only complaint would be the lack of unicorns frolicking in the garden. Disappointing really.

Our stay at Golborne Manor was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were enchanted by the beautiful countryside setting and the welcoming atmosphere. The view from our bedroom window was breathtaking, with lush green fields stretching as far as the eye could see. The beds were a bit high to climb into, but once nestled in, we slept like royalty. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious and filling full English breakfast, expertly prepared just for us. Ann, our hostess, was warm and friendly, making us feel right at home. The manor itself was a stunning property, exuding a homely feel that added to its charm. The location was ideal, being close to the bustling A41 yet shielded from any traffic noise. And for our adventures into Chester, the Park and Ride was conveniently accessible. Clean, tidy, and magnificently maintained, Golborne Manor exceeded all our expectations. we highly recommend this delightful bed and breakfast for a truly unforgettable stay.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious and gave us plenty of energy for our adventures. The hotel's location was perfect - nestled in the serene countryside but still close enough to easily access everything we wanted to see and do. The views from the hotel were breathtaking and we loved being able to take in the beautiful scenery. It was also great to have a friendly and helpful host who made our stay even more enjoyable.
The plumbing in the hotel was a bit inconsistent, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall though, this was a small issue considering the positive aspects of our stay.

Enjoyed the garden views and free WiFi. Parking was a bonus. Shame the nearby airport didn't offer a private jet service. Cons: No private jet service to the nearest airport. How inconvenient.
